Birthday Celebration

Today, I have another cute card

How I did it :

1. for the Puppy shadow : Shadow + Hi Dog button
:: 1st Row, 1st button :: Pg 82 :: height : 2.37"

2. for the Puppy Outline : Hi Dog button
:: 1st Row, 1st button :: Pg 82 :: height : 2.37"

3. for the Presents shadow : "Shadow" + Shift + GiftDog button
:: (hide the birthday whistle)
:: 2nd Row, 2nd button :: Pg 93 :: height : 3.32"

4. for the Presents outline : Shift + GiftDog button
:: 2nd Row, 2nd button :: Pg 93 :: height : 3.32"

5. Cuttle-bugged embossed the Presents shadow Layer using : Swiss dots folder

6. I printed the quote on the card. Cut 2 pieces of paper and used a punch for the scallop, added a ribbon.

7. added googly eyes to the puppy.

8. I assembled it as seen and glittered the puppy, presents and the birthday whistle :)

Special Day

Today, I have another simple but cute card

How I did it :

1. for the clouds : Border + Shift + AngelDog button
:: 4th Row, 6th button :: Pg 117 :: height : 1.42"

2. for the Puppy : "Solid" + SunDog button
:: 4th Row, 5th button :: Pg 116 :: height : 3"

3. for the Leafy flourish : From "Straight from the Nest" cartridge
: "Border" + Branch4 button
:: 2nd Row, 8th button :: Pg 45 ("Straight from the Nest" cartridge) :: height : 1.46"

4. I used glossy accents on the Puppy.

5. Cut 1 strip of paper, add a ribbon, stamp the butterflies, butterfly trails, quote and the birdie. I drew the talk bubble.

6. I assembled it as seen and glittered the butterflies, the puppy and the eye of the birdie :)

With Love

My next card I have is a simple With Love Card

Main Cartridge used : Paper Pups
(Pg numbers mentioned of that Handbook)


How I did it :

1. for the 2 butterflies : Shift + ButterflyDoggy button
:: 1st Row, 8th button :: Pg 89 :: height : 2.18 (with real-dial size)"

2. for the 1 shadow of the butterfly : "Blackout" + Shift + ButterflyDoggy button
:: 1st Row, 8th button :: Pg 89 :: height : 2.30 (with real-dial size)"

3. Cut 2 peices of paper, added a ribbon.

4. I assembled it as seen and glittered it up with the butterfly trails and 1 tiny heart and stamped "With Love". :)

Happy Birthday Puppy

Today, I start exploring with a new cartridge called "Paper Pups" - really cute dog images.

The first card I have is a Happy Birthday Card

How I did it :

1. for Card Cut : "Circle option" + card button
:: 5th Row, 10th button :: Pg 131 :: height : 6.83"

2. for the Doggy : "Circle Option" + Shift + Gift Doggy
:: in Gypsy/DS adjust the height to fit the circle cut in Step 1.
:: 2nd Row, 2nd button :: Pg 93

3. for Circle back : "Blackout option" + Charm button
:: in Gypsy/DS adjust the height so that its .25" bigger than the circle cut in Step 1.
:: 5th Row, 9th button :: Pg 130

4. For the Happy Birthday : I used the Cricut Brown marker
:: "Solid" + Shift + HappyBirthday Doggy
:: in Gypsy/DS adjust the height to fit the card in Step 1.
:: 2nd Row, 1st button :: Pg 92

5. I assembled it as seen and glittered it up. :)
